Woolston Manor Charity Golf Day
Celebrities turned out in abundance to help support this event and raise money for
the 'Home from Home' Appeal. As a long term supporter of the charity Bradley Walsh
was there to get everyone into shape for the Shotgun start. The celebries included,
Radio & TV Presenter Mike Osman, ex-footballers; John Moncur, Don Hutchinson,
John Pratt, Steve Lomas, Kirk Stephens, Steve Sedgley, Actors; Billy Murray, Craig
Fairbrass and Pop Idol star Gareth Gates. ‘Stuart & Stuart’ team took the winning prize.
The evening entertainment was hosted by Mike Osman with performances from Natalie Chua,
Maximum Robbie Williams, Tee Green and one of the X Factor's favourites Andy Abrahams.
The whole day's events with the auction raised a massive £30,000 for the Rhys Daniels
Trust 'Home from Home' Appeal. The charity is a great tribute to Rhys Daniels & his
sister Charly in memory of their short lives and the aim is to provide 'Home from Home'
care at specialist children’s hospitals across the UK.
